RTFC API

Subprocessors

This is the current list of third parties Faktolumo engages to provide the RTFC service - the sub-processors referenced in the Data Processing Agreement and the Privacy Policy.

A provider only appears here if RTFC is actually configured to use it; several rows below are optional integrations that stay entirely inactive until an operator sets the corresponding API key or feature flag - see the notes column.

AI / LLM inference

Used to extract claims from a transcript and to research and draft a verdict for each claim. Model selection is brokered by our own routing layer; RTFC never sends content to a provider outside that layer.

Used only for claims about EU or UK law, and only to look up publicly available legislation and case law - no customer content is sent beyond a short search query.

ProviderPurpose
EUR-Lex / Publications Office of the EUEU legislation and case-law lookup (always available, no key required)
lex-api.comEU legislation and case-law lookup - fallback for the row above; only active if a paid API key is configured
legislation.gov.uk (UK i.AI)UK legislation lookup; only active if enabled

Network / egress infrastructure

Used only when downloading audio from a customer-shared public video URL (for example a TikTok or Instagram link), to route that fetch through non-datacenter network egress.

ProviderPurposeNotes
ProtonVPNNon-datacenter network egress for public-video audio downloads-
Bright DataNon-datacenter network egress for public-video audio downloadsConfigured but not yet in live use

For brand checks Bright Data's scraping and unlocker services also read the public listing of a creator's account (public posts, captions, hashtags) and public pages. No customer content is sent to Bright Data; it receives the public URL or handle being read.

Payments

Stripe processes subscription billing, invoicing, tax calculation and payment card data. Faktolumo never stores payment card details itself. See Stripe's own privacy policy and subprocessor list.

Transactional email

Transactional email (account, verification and quota notifications) for the hosted RTFC service is delivered through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), an EU-based transactional email provider. It receives only the recipient address and the message body, whose content is limited to the notification itself. A self-hosted RTFC deployment configures its own SMTP relay and is not bound to this provider. Payment receipts and invoices are emailed by Stripe, not through this relay.

Updates to this list

We update this page when a sub-processor is added or removed. See the DPA for the objection process on a new sub-processor.
